Christy Cooper
Receptionist
Christy has been the receptionist with Emerald Hills since March 2011. She has been working in customer service for over ten years, including administrative support. Christy graduated from Red Oak High School.

Roy Gardner
General Manager
Roy is a licensed funeral director and embalmer and came to Emerald Hills in 2011 after working 10 years at Bluebonnet Hills. He has continued to establish relationships and incorporate customs of many faiths, ethnic groups and fraternal organizations. Roy graduated from NMSU and a funeral service administration degree from Dallas Institute. He was a Sergeant in the United States Army and served during the Vietnam conflict.

Billy Manus
Courier
Billy has worked in the funeral industry exclusively at Emerald Hills for 4-1/2 years. He enjoys the industry because it’s fulfilling to know the he can play a part in a family’s grieving process and possibly bring them some joy. He helped create a website to help low income families within Tarrant County. His hobbies are nature photography, writing, and painting.

Nancy Mitchell
Family Service Counselor
Nancy is a Family Service Counselor for Emerald Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park. After experiencing the personal loss of her husband, Nancy began to explore options to help families deal with the loss of loved ones. She became a family service counselor at Emerald Hills in 2010 and serves families who have lost a loved one, as well as help educate families on the value of prearranging for cemetery and funeral needs.

Patti Rodgers
Family Service Counselor and Community Service
Patti Rodgers has been in the death care industry for ten years. After losing her mother-in-law, she knew that she would decide to devote herself to helping people through what can be one of the most emotional and painful times in their lives.

Era Smith
Community Service Counselor
Since 1977, Era Rose Smith has been helping people in advance planning of funerals or cremation arrangements. She is active in her church and has been involved in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program and other community outreach organizations. Era is a licensed Pre-Need insurance agent in the State of Texas.

Diana Tameris
Funeral Director
Diana graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and has been a licensed funeral director for six years. She has worked at Laurel Land, Guardian, and Bluebonnet Hills and is now a funeral director at Emerald Hills. She is involved with Arlington Carter Blood Center as a platelet donor and also serves on their Council Board. Her most precious blessings are her four grandchildren who are the joy of her life.
