Elmer Bratcher

December 6, 1929 — February 22, 2017

Elmer Morris Bratcher, 87, was born December 6, 1929 to Albert and Mattie Bell Bratcher in Fort Worth Texas .
He left this earthly home to enter his eternal heavenly home on February 22, 2017 while in a  Weatherford hospital.

Elmer lived in Tate Springs near Arlington, Texas for a big part of his life. There he was a member of the Tate Springs Baptist Church where he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He lived the last 40 years in the town of White Settlement, Texas. After retiring from dairy farming and cabinet making, he enjoyed daily visits, lunches, and dominos at the White Settlement Senior Citizens Center.

Preceding him in death were his parents, first wife Alice, wife Fredda Bull Bratcher,  brothers Grady and Sidney,  sons Wayne and Jerry, step-daughter LeaAnne Bull, and grandchildren David and Trudy.

Those remaining are sons Joe and wife Marilyn of Aledo, Tim and wife Remedios, Scott , step-son Chuck Bull, step-daughter Vanessa, as well as a loving companion of many years Pat Newell and her family. These and  many grandchildren, great grand children, nieces, nephews, and friends will miss him greatly.

Services for Elmer Bratcher will be 2:30 pm Tuesday Emerald Hills Funeral Chapel in Kennedale, Texas.  Visitation: 6:30 pm to 8 pm Monday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.  Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
