GRAND PRAIRIE -- Carleen Mae Young, 81, went to be with Jesus Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Mayfield Road Baptist Church. Interment at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
Carleen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her son, James Young Jr.; and sister, Nancy Graham.
Survivors: Husband of 60 years, James Young; daughters, Jane Burns and her husband, Harvey, Joy Johnson, Christina Ashabranner and late husband, Bobby; sisters, Beverly Hopper, Joanna Fischer and husband, Larry, Julie Mitchell and husband, Kevin; brother, Bill Barnhart and wife, Judy; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
