Al Herbert Hoover, 87, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 15, 2017.
Funeral Service 1 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasantview Baptist Church 4400 Pleasantview Dr. Arlington, Tx 76017.
Interment at Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Pleasantview Baptist Church.
Al was a man who loved the Lord. He was a member of Pleasantview Baptist Church and served the Lord faithfully.
Preceded in death by his first wife of 51 years, Opal Hoover; his second wife of 15 years, Mary Hoover; daughter, Charlene Jones; his parents; 9 siblings; and son in law, Bill Jividen.
Survived by daughters, Cathey Thurson and husband, Jack, and Claire Jividen; son, Curtis Hoover and wife, Gladys; brothers, Robert Hoover and wife, Helen, Jerry Hoover and wife, Kathy, and Joe Hoover; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a host of many more family and friends.
