Alonzo Hawkins

Alonzo “Trouble” Hawkins, a beloved son, brother, and friend, was taken from us far too soon on September 13, 2025, at the age of 34.

His life was a whirlwind of love, laughter, and an invincible spirit that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him.
Born on December 20, 1990, in Ft. Worth, Texas, Alonzo grew up with a fire in his soul and a presence that could not be ignored. Whether he was cracking jokes, lending a helping hand, or lighting up a room with his smile, he carried with him an energy that left an unforgettable mark. Family and friends knew him as someone who lived unapologetically, fiercely loyal to those he loved, and never afraid to stand tall in who he was. He lived life with passion, purpose, and a little bit of mischief the kind that made memories unforgettable. Though his time here was cut short, his impact was mighty. Alonzo’s laughter will echo in our memories, his lessons will guide us, and his love will never fade.

Alonzo was preceded in death by his mother, Rae Dean Ford; his grandparents, Ollie Mae Hawkins, Clay Henry Hawkins, and Larry Joe Moody.

He is survived by his children, Mason Gage and Kayleigh Hawkins; father, Iran Jay Hawkins; sisters, Ashley Ford, Tabitha Hawkins, Whitney Norwood, Cortissa Clark, Ashley Bridgewater, and Tabitha Bridgewater; brothers, Nichols Ford Hawkins and Jonathan Bridgewater; grandmother, Willie Mae Ford; numerous other family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched with his warmth, courage, and humor. 

We will gather to honor his life and spirit, celebrating the joy he brought into this world and the love he left behind.
