BURLESON -- Alvie L. Baker, 79, a retired electrician and military veteran, passed away at a local nursing home Sunday, June 15, 2008.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Alverado Glenwood Cemetery, Alverado. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Survivors: Children and their spouses, Katherine and George Campbell of Joshua, Roger and Lisa Baker and James Baker of Burleson; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Eddie Baker of Kennedale and Marvin Baker of Oklahoma; sisters, Deloise Bacon of Hallsville and Loretta Woolridge of Oklahoma; and a host of other family and friends.
