Anna Susan Castillo, beloved wife, mother, sister, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2024, in Fort Worth, TX. 

Anna Susan was born on June 5, 1954, to Aristeo Azocar and Socorro Hermosillo. Growing up in a close-knit family, she shared many wonderful memories with her parents, siblings, extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents Aristeo and Socorro, brother Edward "Eddie" Azocar and son Arthur Paul Ramirez "Cheeseburger". Both held a special place in her heart.

Throughout her life, Anna Susan was known for her kindheartedness and joyful spirit. She loved helping her friends and family with anything that they needed. She had a passion for reading Danielle Steele books and cherished the quiet moments spent journaling about her daily experiences. Anna Susan found immense joy in spending time with her family and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. Her infectious laughter and warm smile brought happiness to all who knew her. 

Anna Susan is survived by her husband Bobby Castillo. Anna Susan's impact on the lives of those around her extended far beyond just immediate family. Her memory will forever be cherished by her brothers Gilbert and Robert Azocar, sister Mary Castillo, as well as her sons Albert, Andrew and wife Elaine, Aaron and wife Natalie, Angel “The Portiz“ and wife Melissa, Step-Sons Roman and Joe, and Step-Daughter Bobby Yvonne.

Anna Susan's legacy lives on through her beloved grandchildren: Samantha and husband Christian DeLaRosa, Shee'Brianne, Angel "Bubba", Adam, Alyssa, Lucas, Adrian, Autumn, Abel, Ava, and Hayden.

Additionally, she was a loving Step-grandmother to ten Stepgrandchildren. Anna Susan also had the joy of being a Great—Grandmother to three beautiful Great-Granddaughters Nova, Leia, and Stella DeLaRosa. 

In addition to her immediate family, Anna Susan leaves behind Aunts, Uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity.

Anna Susan will be remembered as a loving wife, a nurturing mother, a cherished sister, and a doting grandmother. Her presence in our lives brought immense joy and happiness. Although she is no longer with us in the physical sense, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

On January 10, 2024, friends and loved ones will gather to pay their respects during a visitation held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Kennedale, TX. Starting at 6:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM, this event will provide an opportunity to honor Anna Susan's life and share memories of her.

The memorial service will take place the following day on January 11, 2024, also held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park. Beginning at noon and concluding at 1:00 PM, this service will be a solemn occasion to celebrate Anna Susan's life and say our final goodbyes.
