Anthony Philip Martinez, 61, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 in Plano, Texas.

Celebration of Remembrance of Life: Loyd Park at Joe Pool Lake, Pavilion I Area, 3401 Ragland Road, Grand Prairie, Texas 75052 on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 3:00PM.

Anthony was born on March 4, 1962 at an Army Base in Germany to Abel and Hortensia Martinez. Anthony grew up in San Angelo, Texas. He was an Edison Junior High Alumni. He graduated from Central High School. Anthony married his wife Catarina Juarez in 2017. Anthony spent most of his life in the career he was so passionate about, as a car salesman, many of those years was at Buz Post Motors in Arlington, Texas.

Anthony was a family man. He loved his parents as well as his brother and sister; they were all very close. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren.

Anthony was a kind soul and never met a stranger. He always loved meeting new people and making them feel like they had know him for years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved taking care of his horse. Anthony was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Texas Longhorns, and Tiger Woods.

He is preceded in death by father, Abel Hernandez Martinez Sr; sister, Gloria Martinez; and son, Abel Anthony TJ Martinez.

Survivors: Mother, Hortensia Martinez; wife, Catarina Juarez; sons, Jonathan Martinez and wife, Christine, Alex Martinez; daughters, Stacie Garcia and husband, Richard, Brittany Martinez and husband, Bobby, Nadia Rizer, Alexis Martinez, Analisa Landenberger; sister, Amanda Martinez Smen and husband Jason; brother, Abel Martinez Jr.; grandchildren, Adriana, Miranda, Madison, Harley, Wyatt, Gracie, Olivia, Cooper; niece, Aarika Gatlin and husband, Kamron; and great niece, Woods.
