Obituary

Bidal Jimenez Jr., 82, of Kennedale, TX passed away on June 4, 2026 at his home. He was born on October 1, 1943 in Gonzales County to Bidal Jimenez Sr. & Leonarda Jimenez (Valerio). Bidal grew up in Nixon, TX. Bidal worked in the construction industry. In his lifetime he worked all over the DFW area, in the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s he helped build what was known as the Fort Worth National Bank in downtown Fort Worth, the DFW airport, Seven Sea’s that was by Six Flags in the early 70’s which is no longer there, and numerous schools throughout the DFW area in the 90’s and early 2000’s.Bidal was married to Refugia Jimenez (Peña) for 59 years. Bidal loved to raise animals and play the accordion in his down time, but in reality he didn’t have much down time as he preferred to be working and if you would have asked him he would say that working was his hobby.Bidal was preceded in death by parents, Bidal Jimenez Sr and Leonarda Jimenez (Valerio), his son Johnny Jimenez and daughter Patricia Alvarez (Jimenez), his siblings, Janie Ramirez (Jimenez), Pedro Jimenez, Domingo Jimenez, Celso Jimenez, Pasqual Jimenez, Jorge Jimenez, Erasmo Jimenez, and Alfonso Jimenez.Bidal is survived by his wife, Refugia Jimenez (Peña), his sons Ricky Jimenez, Carlos Bidal Jimenez, Jose Luis Jimenez, daughters Ruth Ann Alvarez (Jimenez) husband Victor Alvarez, Selena Lynn Reyes (Jimenez) husband Jesus Reyes, his grandchildren: Beatrice Williamson (Nathaniel), Antonio Alvarez Jr. (Jennifer), Charles Brandon Eubanks (Connie), Valerie Bryant (Dustin), Christopher Mathew Jimenez, (Crystal),Rafael Alvarez (Liza), Victor Manuel Alvarez, Ruben Alvarez, Carlos Bidal Jimenez Jr., Alana Salas, Julian Jimenez, Ezekiel Reyes. (great-grandchildren) James Jimenez, Amelia Bryant, Dawson Bryant, Madison Bryant, Chipper Bryant, Natalya Williamson, Phillip Alvarez, Henry Alvarez, Victoria Alvarez, and Delilah Alvarez and Amari Romero and his nieces and nephews and other relatives.
