Bill Brian Casbeer, 72, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at his home in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on July 26, 1950, in San Saba, Texas, to Jack Lewis and Julia Ellen (Jones) Casbeer.

Bill grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Green B. Technical High School in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1968. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and served for 20 years. He served in the Vietnam War and was the recipient of: the Army service medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 6 bronze service stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 Device, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Army Commendation Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Aircraft Crewman badge, Overseas Service Ribbon-2, NCO Professional Development Ribbon-3, and a Good Conduct Medal. He retired in 1988, achieving the rank of SPC E-7.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Julia; sisters Nancy Casbeer and Tina Henderson; and brother Dean Casbeer.

Bill is survived by his siblings Anna Casbeer of Fort Worth, Tx, Glen Casveer of Brownwood, Tx, Mary Casbeer of Fort Worth, Tx, and Judy Collins (Gary) of Rhome, Tx; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held on May 5, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Emerald Hills Memorial Park located at 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd. Kennedale, Tx, 76060
