Bobby Dale Womack, 62, was called home on January 30, 2022. He was born on December 24, 1959 in Fort Worth TX to David and Ruby Porter Womack.
Bobby was an over the road truck driver for 45 years. Bobby married Kay in 1993 and they were happily married for 29 years. Bobby was many things but above all he was a family man and loved the Lord. Even though Bobby spent his days driving across America, you wouldn’t have known that with how connected he was with loved ones and friends. Bobby would spend his weekends helping out anyone that asked and would truly give you the shirt off his back. Bobby loved children but the ones that really stole his heart was his own. Summing up Bobby’s life in words simply does not give it justice. Bobby will be greatly missed by so many family and friends. Family gatherings, reunions and holidays will not be the same without this silly and loving man. So go through those gates singing and praising and save a space for all of us...
Bobby is survived by his spouse, Kay of Burleson TX; son, Timothy (Lisa) Womack of Joshua TX; daughter, Krystal Whitlock; brothers, David (Shelia) Womack of Matador TX, Jimmy (Kay) Womack of Arlington TX, John (Nancy) Leslie of Mansfield TX, and James (Debbie) Leslie of San Flats TX; sisters, Jane Satterlee of Missouri, Joan Dickerson of Missouri and Betty Hamilton of Watauga TX; grandchildren, Zachary and Travis; great-grandchild, Aly'annah; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, James Hooper.
