Carol Ann Thomas was born June 21, 1939 In Alvarado, TX to Matthew and Kathleen Thomas. She was the oldest of 4 children. She grew up in and around Dennison TX where she graduated from High School in 1958. She briefly attended Brantley Draughton School Of business and decided that was not for her. She lived and worked in Dennison until 1965 when her recently widowed Aunt, Cluster Snow, invited her to come to Fort Worth and live with her. She worked in the nursery at Polytechnic Baptist Church for 13 years and then worked in the Cafeteria at Texas Wesleyan College for about 8 years before she became a full time care taker for her Aunt until her death in 2008. Carol remained in Fon Worth at her aunt's home for about 3 years before she reluctantly agreed to move to the Villages at Pleasant Ridge. She later said that it was the best decision that she ever made. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Kathleen Thomas, siblings Dennis and Steven Thomas all Of Dennison TX. She is survived by her brother David Neal Thomas and wife Barbara of Plano, TX and numerous cousins and friends
