Charles Edward Tucker II

May 4, 1959 – May 22, 2025

Charles Edward Tucker II was born on May 4, 1959, in Jackson, Tennessee. He went to his heavenly home on May 22, 2025, at the age of 66. He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Charles Edward “Trey” Tucker III, and his parents, Betty and Charles Tucker.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Karen Tucker; his devoted daughters, Lindsay Tucker of Fort Worth, and Lacey and Tyler Bryant of Fort Worth; his cherished grandchildren, Reynold and Cimmaron Watson, and Mercy Tucker, all of Fort Worth; and three beloved great-grandchildren — Waylon, Brynlee, and Liberty Watson — who will grow up hearing stories of their loving great-grandfather. He is also survived by his sister, Janna Rogers and her husband Richard of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and his brother Robert Tucker of Oakland, Tennessee.

Tucker grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and graduated from Overton High School in 1976. After many years of hard work, he retired from the United States Postal Service in 2023. Known for his sharp mind and quiet strength, Tucker was a man of few words, but when he spoke, it mattered. He was an incredibly skilled mechanic who could fix anything.

He was a loving and devoted husband, a wonderful father, and an outstanding grandpa. He loved his family more than anything and found the greatest joy in simply having them around. He was dearly loved by “all of his girls,” and especially close to his grandson, Ren.

Tucker enjoyed collecting firearms, spending time at the gun range, and hunting with friends and his grandson — who was always a better shot, much to Tucker's amusement and pride. At the time of his passing, he was in the middle of building a rifle, a testament to his hands-on skill and passion. Family dinners at Mercado Juarez were a favorite tradition he treasured.

A longtime member of Sublet Road Baptist Church, Tucker and his family accepted the Lord and were baptized there, beginning a legacy of faith that continues through generations. He was secure in his faith in Jesus and looked forward to the promise of Heaven.

The family extends sincere thanks to Brother Morrow, Brother Jonathan, and the church for their prayers, love, and visits. As Brother Jonathan prayed just before his passing, the Lord answered — and Charles was lifted into the presence of his Savior. What a beautiful reunion it must have been. Amen!!!
