Cheryl Kelly

Cheryl Kelly was born October 18, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY to Solomon and Elaine Brody and graduated from Bayshore High School in 1973.   She was married in 1975 to Kevin Hendrickson and they had a daughter, Stacy.    She remarried in 2004 to Stephen Kelly and they remained married until her death.  They both enjoyed traveling, camping, and doing jigsaw puzzles.  In addition, they had a great love for their two dogs, Sammy and Bambi.   Cheryl worked at Lockheed Martin for 28 years and retired in 2016 as an Executive Admin Assistant.   Cheryl passed away on March 17, 2018 from complications from ovarian cancer after being recently diagnosed.  She was preceded in death by her parents Solomon and Elaine Brody and her grandson Ian Marquez.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance to the memorial fund that has been set up in her name. Memorial service will be held Friday March 23, at 10:00 a.m. at Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
