FRIENDSWOOD -- Claudine Collom, 88, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015, in Houston.
She spent her teaching career at Johnston Junior High School and she took great pride and fulfillment from her students, never forgetting a single one of them. She used to joke that she would not smile until the last day of school.
Survivors: Daughters, Cheryl Lynne Doyle and husband, James, Jennifer Raye Dunaway and husband, David Lee; brother, Dale Cimbrel Powers; sister, Glenna Mae McKivergan; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. We love you, Mother.
