Connie Marie Hill, age 81, passed away on September 16th, 2025 at Community Healthcare of Texas Hospice House at Huguley in Burleson , Texas. She was born on July 9th in Allentown New York to Calvin and Evelyn (Arthur) Baker.
Connie grew up in Sacramento California. She graduated from Encina high school in Sacramento, California in 1962. After high school she attended Mills College at northwestern university in Oakland California where she received a Bachelors in nursing.
Connie began work for Family Healthcare Associates as a RN before retiring in 1998. She was greatly loved by both coworkers and patients alike. She was involved in her church, the Hillcrest church of Christ and the Hearts and Hands food pantry where she gave back to her community.
Connie was married to Joel in 1964 in Carson Nevada. They were happily married for 54 years. She enjoyed embroidery, fabric crafts, travel, card games, and volunteering .
Connie was preceded in death by her Mother Evelyn, Father Calvin, and husband Joel.
Connie is survived by her son Shawn Hill and daughter Laura Hill; Her sister Judy Baker, brother Calvin Baker, and sister Carla Baker; Her granddaughter Brenda Husava; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family that was not bound by blood.
A memorial service will be held at Emerald Hills 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale at 11:00 am on October 4th, 2025 . A visitation will be held at the same place at 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on October 3rd, 2025. Burial will follow at Emerald Hills cemetery.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Community Healthcare of Texas for their care of Connie in her final days, the Hillcrest Church of Christ for giving her a community she was proud to be apart of, Emerald Hills Funeral Home for being both the resting place of her and her husband, and to all the friends and family that she loved so dearly and made her life all the more filling.
She was a kind and caring person who was loved and will be missed by many.
