Corinne (Cory) Michelle Hall, 55, passed away peacefully in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, July 4, 2020 with family at her bedside. Cory was born on August 26, 1964 in Norfolk, Virginia and spent her childhood in Pensacola, Florida. Her vivacious personality motivated her parents to have her move to France, where she lived with family for several years. There she developed a passion for culinary arts and love of culture. She later settled in Texas, falling in love with, and marrying Terry Hall in 1981. Cory took great pride in her sons, Stephen and Matthew. She was fully involved in their lives, from cheering them in sports to leading them with a strong but loving hand, challenging them to give their best in all they do. Cory will be forever remembered for her kindness, charity, and her ability to find value and goodness in everyone. She often carried blankets in her car to give to those in need, because someone being cold was something she could fix. Cory believed in hard work, accomplishing goals, and making dreams happen. Her leadership and people skills were amazing. She was a highly respected and deeply-loved manager for the properties she ran during her long career with Lincoln properties, managing both THE ASHTON & ONE UPTOWN, in Dallas. Her exquisite attention to detail and ability to motivate others to reach for the stars came naturally.
In 2018, the size of Cory’s family grew fourfold when her birth brothers and sister, for whom she’d long searched, were reunited. She was finally able to be the little sister she was meant to be and, in typical Cory fashion, she excelled in her new role, sharing tremendous joy, laughter, and memories with our newly-blended family. Cory leaves behind a multitude of family and friends who will forever love & admire her inner strength and dynamic character. These include her son, Stephen Augustus Hall & wife Ashley, her son Matthew Charles Hall, her parents Fred & Chantal Fenton, her sister Nichole Fenton, her sister Brenda Conley & husband Mark, her brother Tracy Mathews and wife Cheryl, along with nieces Angela Tripp, Judith Frazee & Sarah Bennett.
