Craig Andrew Prescott (69) passed away on Tuesday, December 2nd , 2025. His final days were spent at the VA Medical Center in Dallas, Texas with his siblings and daughter Shealene by his side. Craig was born on October 13th , 1956, in Kuna, Idaho to Warren Henry and Barbara Gene (Crawford) Prescott. Craig grew up in Lynnwood, Washington and Wilmington, Delaware. At age 17 (April 1974), Craig entered the military and served in the United States Army for three years. While in the service Craig completed his GED. Craig loved his children and family deeply, even if he didn’t always show it outwardly. With a big heart, a strong will, and a touch of pride, he lived life fully and on his own terms. Craig was a hardworking and passionate man who found joy in creating with his hands. His talent for woodworking was unmatched – whether he was building fences, houses, decks, or furniture he poured his heart into every piece. It was more than a skill; it was his passion. Craig also enjoyed the game of poker and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. He loved being surrounded by friends, laughter, and good times and embraced every moment life offered. Craig leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew him. Craig was preceded in death by his parents Warren Henry Prescott and Barbara Gene (Crawford) Prescott Sawyer. Craig is survived by his daughter Shealene Nicole Prescott and grandchildren Preston Edward Thiemann and Tess Lynea Thiemann of Arlington, Texas. His children Eric Michael Prescott and Erin Michelle Snapp. His siblings Warren Ronald Prescott, Linda Susan (Ronald) Barnes, Terry Lee (Kimberley) Prescott, and Kevin Wade (Jamie) Prescott. And his nieces and nephews and other relatives.
