Dale Oliver Glady of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 95.

He was born on August 2, 1931, in Portville, NY, to Oliver L. Glady and Katherine Luella Rose.

Dale moved to Texas around 1950 after obtaining a Milk Tester license from Cornell University and started working for the Texas Artificial Breeding Farm in Dallas. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1952 and served in the Korean War, where he received a Korean Service Medal with two bronze service stars, in addition to other honors. In 1954, Dale went to work for the Colonel Ousley Ranch in Roanoke, Texas, where he met and married his lifelong wife, Doris Jean Hogue. The majority of Dale's career was spent in the construction industry, working as a plaster contractor where he built toward self-proprietorship and eventually retired. Dale enjoyed many special friendships over the years and created lots of memories. His hobbies included fishing, farming, gardening, cooking (especially BBQ), and even frog gigging.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Luella Glady; his wife, Doris Jean Glady; his granddaughter, Rachel Rene LeFils; his two brothers, Duane and LD Glady; his sister, Lois Nye; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, his good friend Joe Sides, and many other special buddies. He is survived by his children, Burdett Glady and wife Angela, Myron Glady, Michele Adams-Landry and husband Gerald, and Anna LeFils and husband Eddie; his grandchildren, Neil Glady, Emily Ochoa and husband Jesse, Eric Glady, Daniel Glady, Amanda Adams-Baier and husband James, Lindsey Givens and husband Jacob, and Ashley Blake and husband Chris; and his great-grandchildren, Avery, Lynlee, Claire, Gabriel, Leighton, Addison, and Clark.
