Donald Stinson

Donald Paul Stinson, 88, was born on Aug. 18, 1934, in Fort Worth TX to Clarence J & Myrtle E Stinson and was the fourth born of five brothers. He departed life on October 16, 2022, and reunited with his loving parents, his four brothers, Ralph, Tommy, Clarence and little brother, Richard Lee Stinson, his sister in laws, Dorothy Lee Dignum - Boutwell and husband David Boutwell, Helen Stinson, niece, Cheryl Stinson - Vaclavik, Debbie Boutwell - Herman, nephews, Ray Stinson and Gary Stinson.

As a boy, he started his young working experience as a newspaper boy and

also delivered prescriptions for a local pharmacy on bike. He attended Poly Technical High School, graduating in 1952. He then attended the University of Texas at Arlington until honorably serving his country in the US Army and stationed in Verdun France in 1956-1957.

He married his high school sweetheart, Joyce A Dignum, for an amazing 67-year marriage.  He was a loyal husband and proud father of two sons. He was a hardworking man, dedicated to providing for his family. He enjoyed fishing on the Texas Coast, road trips, and helping others. He always wore a smile.

After serving his country in the US Army, he then begun a long, demanding career keeping the family business going with pride, until the business closed doors in 1997.

Survivors:  Wife, Joyce A Stinson; sons, Edward J Stinson, Charles A. and wife Jennifer Stinson;  nephews, Rick and wife Gwen Stinson of San Diego, CA and Rob and wife Mona Stinson of Santa Anna, CA, Grant and wife Carolyn Stinson of Fort Worth, TX,  Joe Stinson of Arlington, TX,  Tommy H. Stinson and wife Shae of Austin, TX, Shawn Stinson of Round Rock, TX; sister in laws, Betty Stinson of Round Rock, TX and Bobbie Stinson of Arlington, TX; nieces, Donna Boutwell - Jagers,  Mary Ann and husband Fran Baker of Keller, TX and Beth and husband Randy Brewer of Galveston, TX.
