Doris Ley

Doris Ellen Ley was born  on January 19, 1930 to parents Howard Kring and Mary Belle Jones Kring Davis.

She graduated from Etna Green High School in 1948 and married Don Yeiter after graduation from high school.

Doris had three children: Randal Dean Yeiter, Sheryl Lynette Yeiter, and Rex Allen Yeiter.  Doris worked at C.T.S. Corporation until her retirement in 1980. During her family raising years she worked on her family farm and redecorated every house they moved into. Doris volunteered at the church, sewed, and was a social director at her church. She even worked at construction projects in some of the churches she attended.  Doris was quick to take a covered dish to any hurting family. Doris was an immaculate house keeper and a near perfect hostess.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert.  Doris was born in Nappanee, Indiana. She lived in Etna Green, Wakarusa, Elkhart, and Indianapolis. She Married Earl Ley on May 24, 1980 and moved to Ft Myers in 2002.  Doris and Earl moved to Arlington, Texas in 2013 to be near her daughter, Sheryl. Doris Ellen Ley went home to be with her Lord on December 13, 2017. Doris is survived by her husband, four children, six grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
