Elida Escalante

Elida Alcorta Escalante, age 76, of Kennedale, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018.  She was born May 5, 1941 in Uvalde, Texas to Reyes and Sarita Alcorta.  Elida married Leonel Escalante in August of 1958 and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2016.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Ellie House (Russell) of Benbrook, Oscar Escalante (Jamie) of Kennedale, Robert Escalante of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Justin, Lauren, Cynthia, Sara, Alexis, Alek, Stephanie, Hailey, Ashley, Little Robert, Joe Jr., Anthony; several great grandchildren; siblings, Sara Tapia (Juan), Master Chris (Linda), Olivia Villanueva, an Evangelina Martinez.

Funeral service for Ms. Escalante will be Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 1:00PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale with interment to follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.  Visitation will be Friday, February 23, 2018 from 6:00-8:00P.M. at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale, Texas.
