Evelyn Belle Pace Wieberg Fiorenza October 14, 1936 — April 6, 2026
It is with love and gratitude for her remarkable life that we celebrate the passing of Evelyn Belle Pace Wieberg Fiorenza, who left us peacefully on April 6, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 89.
Born on October 14, 1936, in Bolivar, Texas, Evelyn's journey began in the heart of North Central Texas, where she learned the values of hard work and resilience early on. As a child, she spent her days picking cotton and peanuts under the blazing Texas sun—a formative experience that shaped her enduring strength, humility, and appreciation for life's simpler joys.
Evelyn built a life filled with love, family, and passion. She was married twice, first to Cletus Wieberg and later to Webster Fiorenza, both of whom she loved deeply and lost before her. Her devotion to family was the cornerstone of her life, and she leaves behind a legacy carried forward by her two children: Julie Bucek and her husband Paul Bucek, and Kevin Wieberg and his wife Ashley Wieberg. She was also survived by her daughter-in-law, Francis Wieberg, widow of her late son David Wieberg.
She was a beloved grandmother to five grandchildren: Shannon Marie Bucek, Jonathan Bucek and his wife Sara, Kathleen Gayle Bucek, Amber Lorraine Wieberg, and Kevin "Cody" Wieberg and his wife Keyla. She was a cherished great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren: Alexandra (Allie) Marie and her husband Jacob Boot, Alese (Lacey) Marie, Brycen Anthony, Aidan Matthew Wieberg, Liam Alexander Wieberg, Jax Robert Breeden, and Everly Skye Breeden. She was a treasured great-great-grandmother to six great-great-grandchildren: Micah Joseph, Jonah Robert, Nalani Skye-Marie, Jeremiah James, Alaia Ann-Marie, and Neiko Jay.
Professionally, Evelyn worked diligently in bookkeeping, bringing the same precision and care to her work that she brought to everything she touched. Beyond her career, she was a woman of vibrant spirit and creativity. An excellent seamstress and meticulous cross-stitcher, she crocheted many beautiful items that family and friends still enjoy today. She also expressed herself through dance and could often be found competing in friendly games of dominoes. A true Texan at heart, she was a devoted Texas Rangers baseball fan, cheering for her team through decades of seasons. She also cherished time with her friends, often taking the bus to the casinos in Oklahoma for a day of fun and excitement. In her quieter moments, she delighted in reading romance novels and solving crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Evelyn's life was marked by warmth, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved. She taught her family the importance of perseverance, the beauty of creativity, and the value of gathering together around good food, good games, and good company. Holiday gatherings at Evelyn's were always a special treat for the family, featuring her beloved cornbread dressing and giblet gravy.
A funeral service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale, Texas, on April 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow at the same location.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Viola McCraw Pace; her brothers, Floyd, Calvin, and Ronnie; her sisters, Betty and Francis; her beloved husbands, Cletus Wieberg and Webster Fiorenza; and her son, David Wieberg. She leaves behind a family who will carry her memory forward with love and pride.
Rest in peace, Evelyn. Your story continues in every grandchild's smile, every domino game played, every bus trip to Oklahoma, every holiday meal shared, and every Texas Rangers game watched.
