Frank Herrera Sr.

Frank Herrera, age 75, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, surrounded by love.

Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He lived a life defined by kindness, faith, and quiet strength, always placing his family and his values at the center of his life. One of his last kind acts on earth was giving the gift of sight to two people through his donation. He found great joy on the golf course and took pride in both the friendships and peaceful moments the game brought him.

A man of deep faith, Frank was dedicated to serving his church and community. Whether through volunteering his time, offering a helping hand, or simply showing up when needed, his service reflected the compassion and humility he lived by each day.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Susie; his son, Frank, and daughter-in-law, Katie; and his three cherished grandchildren, who were the light of his life and his greatest joy.

Frank will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love, faith, generosity, and the steady example he set for those around him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, 500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, TX 76060. on February 6th at 10:00 AM.
