Geneva Stevens

Geneva Faye Stevens 88 of Haltom City, TX passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019.  Respecting her wishes, she died peacefully in her home with her family.

There will be a visitation to celebrate the life of Geneva Wednesday, December 11th at the funeral home from 6-8 pm.  Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, December 12th at Emerald Hills.

Gene enjoyed Zumba and up until her illness in March was still attending 4 classes a week.  She also enjoyed walking with her neighbor and spent many hours wandering the streets of the neighborhood where she raised her family and lived in the same home for 60 years.

Gene was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bill Stevens who passed away in 1998.  She is survived by her son Danny Lee Stevens and wife Brigitte of Hurst, TX.    Daughter Elaine Maxwell and husband Steve of Kalispell, MT.    Son Kenneth Frank Stevens and wife Melinda of Lakeside, Tx.

Five grandsons, Mark Stevens, Jeff Stevens, Tyler Stevens, Billy Frank Stevens, & Jay Maxwell and one grand-daughter Carrie Sharpe.

6 great grandsons & 3 great grand-daughters & many nieces and newphews.

The family would like to thank the Nurses of Envoy Hospice for their incredible care provided to Geneva and a special thank you to her neighbor Dale for being so thoughtful and caring.

Geneva was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
