FORT WORTH -- Helen Elizabeth Kennard, 81, passed away Friday, April 27, 2007.
Funeral: noon Tuesday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Helen Elizabeth Kennard was born Oct. 19, 1925, in Dallas. She was a friend to everyone she met. Helen was a lifetime resident of Fort Worth, active in school and church activities. She was a woman of faith and attended Grace Temple Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible and sharing her faith with others. She had a passion for collecting teapots and loved her Gladys Tabor books.
Helen was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Vivian Janes Wheeler and Andrew Cornelius Janes; her loving husband of 51 years, Andrew; and brothers, Earl, Ernest, Andy and Johnny.
Survivors: Her sister, Phyllis and brother, Frank. Her children, Bobby, Johnny and Larry Kennard and daughter, Debbie Tunnell, daughters-in-law, Anita, Terry, Patty and son-in-law, Doug filled her life with joy and provided her with 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was Aunt Helen to Diane Janes, and great-aunt to Sunny Haralson and Ruby Pearl of Austin
