James Harold Taylor

James Harold Taylor, 88, passed away on January 8, 2026 at a rehabilitation facility in Burleson, Texas. He was born on January 2,1938 in Flint, Michigan to James and Cora Taylor. Harold grew up in Arlington, Texas, and graduated from Arlington High School in 1956. After high school, he attended Arlington State College, and then he and his father started a used car and recreational vehicle sales business called Taylor Motor Company. They sold that business and Harold retired in 1980. Harold married Gail Thomas in 1956 in Arlington, Texas. They were happily married for 69 years. Harold was a member of Christ Fellowship Church in Mansfield, Texas. He enjoyed cars, horses and camping with friends. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, James and Cora Taylor. Harold is survived by his spouse, Gail Taylor; his daughter, Jamie Henson (and husband Wayne Henson); his son, Ricky Taylor (and wife Jackie Taylor); his grandchildren, Jennifer Devine (and husband Chad Devine), Jeremy Reidinger (and wife Cilisa Reidinger), and Ryan Taylor (and wife Caitlin Taylor); his great grandchildren, Drew Devine, Ava Devine, Landry Devine, Kennedy Devine, Torrin Reidinger, Daisy Taylor and Gemma Taylor; and other relatives. ln lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Advanced Rehabilitation & Healthcare (275 SE John Jones DR., Burleson, TX 76028).
