Janet Shupe

November 23, 1951 — February 2, 2018

Janet Deneweth Shupe was born November 23, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to Victor and Dorothy (Sikorski) Ozimkiewicz. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 2, 2018.  Janet was married to Dwight “Ike” Shupe for over thirty years.  She loved her family and brought love to her home.  Janet loved to visit people sharing her life story and accepting everyone.  She was humorous in nature and lived a life of joy loving nature and animals.  Janet held a Master’s Degree in Counseling and as a licensed professional counselor spent time assisting individuals through counseling.  She was also a Master Gardener.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ike Shupe; daughter, Nikki Shupe and husband Timothy Ho; son, Jason Shupe and wife Monica; grandchildren, Jacob Shupe, Joseph Shupe, Charles Shupe; sister, Judy Robinson and husband Steve; sister in law, Dawn Brandenburg and husband Les; nephews, Luke Brandenburg and wife Kelsey, Billy Robinson, Frank Brandenburg; and niece Mary Robinson.

Celebration of life service for Mrs. Shupe will be held Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 2:00P.M. at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale.  Visitation will be Wednesday, February 7, 2017 from 6:00-8:00P.M. at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale.
