Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday, Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Betty Joel Sr.; and brother, Herbert W. Joel.
Survivors: Wife, Teresa Joel; son, Kevin and Carrie Joel; daughters, Tessa Joel and Denise and Jimmy Batchlor; brothers, Paul Joel, Howard "Skinny" and Christine Joel Jr., Billy J. Joel and Timmy Joel; eight grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
