Jimmy Truitt

Jimmy Crawford Truitt age 73, passed away peacefully at his home in Mansfield, Texas on December 7, 2020.

Jim was born August 6, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas to Jack and Katherine Truitt. Jim graduated from Poly High School in Fort Worth, Texas in 1965.  As a patriot of his country, Jim served in the United States Army. He met the love of his life Dorothy Sue Cain and they married May 5th, 1969.  Jim retired from a successful career as a machinist from Haliburton in 2014.

Jim is survived by his wife Sue Truitt, sons Jason and Jeff, daughters-in-law Stephanie and Tiffany and grandchildren Taylor, Zoey and Meleah.

Besides spending time with family and friends, Jim had a passion for classic cars, swap meets, exploring the mountains of Colorado, landscaping and projects around the house. Jim had an energetic personality and was known for his ability to restore and repair.
