Hebrews 11:1-2 & 13 – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it, the elders obtained a good testimony…. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
