Her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and generous heart made people feel welcome, loved, and at ease.
Julianie Joseph passed away on September 9, 2026, in Heartland, Texas, at the age of 80. She was born on October 5, 1945, in Chansolme, Haiti, and carried with her throughout her life a warmth and love that touched everyone around her.
Julianie attended school in Port de Paix, Haiti. She was a bright light in every room she entered, affectionately known as “Mommy” to so many. Her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and generous heart made people feel welcome, loved, and at ease. She never met a stranger and was always ready with a kind word, a helping hand, or a reason to smile.
Her family was the center of her life and her proudest accomplishment was being a mother and taking care of her family. She was loving, selfless, and giving, and she loved with her whole heart. Above all, she was a devoted mother who cherished her children and treasured being their “Mommy” as one of life’s greatest blessings. Her love was unconditional, and she gave so much of herself to those she held dear.
Julianie also found joy in simple pleasures. She enjoyed search word puzzles, card games, and dominoes, moments that reflected both her lively spirit and her love of togetherness. Those who knew her will always remember the familiar words she shared so often: “Look nice” and “Jesus love you and I love you too.” These sayings captured both her caring nature and the faith that shaped her life.
