KENNEDALE -- Jesus opened the door to heaven for Kenneth Dale Pickard Sr., 67, on Wednesday, June 25, 2008.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
He was born April 17, 1941, in Paradise to Clifford Wallace and Myrtle Gertrude Pickard. He married Bertha on May 9, 1969, in Fort Worth. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired truck driver.
Survivors: His wife of 38 years, Bertha Sue Pickard and their sons, Kenneth Dale Pickard Jr. and wife, Jessica, and Kevin Wallace Pickard. He was blessed with grandchildren, Logan, Madison, Gracie and Emilie. He is also survived by his brother, Jerry Pickard; sisters, Shirley Huckabee and Linda Pickard; brothers-in-law, Steve Santa Cruz, Bo Huckabee, Larry Huckabee; sister-in-law, Judy Huckabee; and many nieces, nephews and friends who all loved him very much.
