Obituary

In Loving Memory of Kevin Collins Easter December 6, 1983 – June 21, 2026

Kevin Collins Easter, 42, passed away unexpectedly on June 21, 2026, at his apartment in Fort Worth, Texas. Though his time with us was far too short, Kevin’s vibrant spirit, creativity, and unforgettable smile left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.

Early Life and Education

Kevin was born on December 6, 1983, in Waco, Texas, to Rhonda Sue (Martin) Easter and the late Billy James Easter. He grew up in Waco, where he attended St. Louis Elementary and Junior High, and Reicher High School, before graduating from Waco High School in 2002. Kevin was a proud lifelong learner; he attended McLennan Community College in Waco and later Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, where he proudly completed his associate degree in June of 2025.

A Life of Passion and Connection

To know Kevin was to know a gentle, open-hearted soul who never met a stranger and was always easy to talk to. His brilliant smile could light up any room. He was a man of deep passions, channeling his extraordinary creativity into writing and playing music, drawing, painting, and reading. Kevin also loved video games, traveling, and the companionship of his beloved cat.

Those who loved Kevin knew that his absolute favorite time of year was Halloween. His passion for the holiday—filled with black cats, pumpkins, owls, and witches—perfectly captured his imaginative, fun-loving, and unique nature.

Employment

Throughout his life, Kevin was a dedicated and hard worker. He shared his friendly nature with colleagues and customers alike at several places over the years, including Target in Arlington, Texas, and most recently, for the last eight months, at RaceTrac in Fort Worth.

Preceded in Death

Kevin was reunited in peace with his father, Billy James Easter; his maternal grandparents, George and Peggy (Brink) Martin; and his half-sisters, Sherilyn Easter and Cristina Easter, all of Waco.

Survived By

Kevin’s memory will be forever cherished by his devoted mother, Rhonda Easter of Fort Worth, TX; his two brothers, Michael James Easter and Ryan Travis Easter, both of Fort Worth, TX; his sister, Lindsey Marie Easter Weber and her husband Robert of East, TN; and his half-sister, Karen Denise Easter Stone and her husband Steven Michael Stone of Waco, TX. He is also survived by his adored niece and nephew, Isobelle Davina Weber and Ezra August Weber of Kingsport, TN, as well as a large, loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins with whom he shared a very close bond.
