Konstantinos Panagiotou Papaioannou

Kon Papaioannou, 83, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife. Born in Greece, he immigrated to Cloquet in 1955 at the age of 15.  After serving in the U.S. Army, he joined the Cloquet Fire Department where he retired after 30 years of service.  He later retired in Mesa, AZ. 

Kon cherished his faith and family above all else. He leaves behind Irene, his devoted wife of 54 years, as well as his loving children, Angela and Peter, son-in-law Mike, grandchildren Alexis and Emma, and sister Sofia.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 2716 N Dobson Rd, Chandler, AZ 85224.
