Lewis Ford

Lewis Franklin “Frank” Ford, 85, passed away on December 7, 2021 at his home in Arlington, Texas. He was born on July 19, 1936 in Kennedale, Texas to Bill and Ruth Irene Ford.

Frank grew up in Kennedale, Texas. He later moved to Oklahoma where he met and married Charlinia Maye Ingram, his wife of 62 years.

He enjoyed fishing, dancing and being with his family.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Temperance Purgason and Joyce Benson.

Frank is survived by his wife Charlinia; his daughters Darlene Vermillion (husband Marty Vermillion) and Paula Ford (husband Ray Perrine); his sisters Katherine Gordon (husband Tommy Gordon), Doris June Jones and Iva Mathews (husband David Mathews); grandchildren Matthew Vermillion (wife Felisha), David Vermillion (wife Ashley Vermillion), Amber May (husband Kevin May), Todd Pollard (wife Summer Pollard), Daniel Vermillion (wife Stormy Vermillion) and Amanda Pollard (fiancé Levi Stahl); sixteen great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home (500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060) at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 10, 2021. A memorial service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 11, 2021.
