Linda Clarice Jackson, 79, passed away on October 10, 2022 at Rockwall Nursing Center in Rockwall, Texas. She was born on February 27, 1943, in Fort Worth, Texas to Edgar and Ruby Line Jackson.

Linda grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from Fort Worth Technical High School, in 1961.

Linda married James H. Billingsley in 1962 in Fort Worth. They were happily married for 32 years until his death in 1994. Linda was a member of First United Methodist Church in Kennedale, Texas. She enjoyed traveling, horses and animals, raising her children, entertaining, and spending time with friends and family.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jim, her parents, and her brother, George Clinton Line Jackson of Houston.

Linda is survived by her second spouse, D. L. Borden of California; her son, James D. Billingsley of Waco; daughters, Shelly L.Fijewski, of Arlington, Kelly L. Davis of Grand Prairie, and Kimberly A. Kraatz of Arlington; her five grandchildren, Kyl Benton, James Fijewski, Keith Kraatz, Amanda Claus, Kevin Kraatz; four great-grandchildren, Madeline and Brooklyn Benton, Aidan Claus, and Kaysen Kraatz; and her nephew, Larry Jackson and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060 at 2PM Thursday, October 20, 2022.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association, North TX Chapter, https://www.alz.org/northcentraltexas,  National Barrel Horse Association, https://nbha.com/state/texas/,  Habitat For Horses, www.habitatforhorses.org.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Emerald Hills Funeral Home, Christopher Jones, Lori Madsen, Amanda Ozuna, First United Methodist Church, Kennedale, Dr. Nelda Barrett Murraine, Laurie, Eddie, and Daniel Sanders, and the host of friends and family that have reached out with prayers and condolences.
