Linda Jo Ellett Riley, 78, of Grandview, Texas, passed away on April 10, 2026. She fought a tough battle, and Our Heavenly Father determined that her work here was done.

Linda was born on June 5, 1947, in Colorado City, Texas. Some of her career highlights include Key Punch Operator at Joske’s Dept Store in Pasadena, Office Manager at Riley Enterprises, Inc., in Kennedale, and Assistant Body Shop Manager at Bill McKay Chevrolet in Fort Worth. She became employed at Texas Workforce and finally worked at the NJ Long Cultural Arts Center in Cleburne, Texas, where she remained into her 70s. She loved to travel, especially enjoying road trips. She loved raising her miniature donkeys, pheasants, peacocks, ducks, pigs, goats, parrots, dogs, and cats over her wonderful lifetime.

Linda is survived by daughter Tina Marie Spradlin, (husband David Spradlin) and her son Ronnie Doyle Riley, five grandchildren: Megan Riley Childers (husband Kenneth Childers), Ryon Duke Riley (wife Lacy Riley), David Austin Spradlin, Riley Alan Spradlin, Travis Andrew Spradlin, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, nieces Kristin Cooper-Chadwick and Tiffany Ellett Hankins, and nephew, Wesley Michael Ellett. Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Yvonne Ellett Collins; her brother, Jimmy Collins; her brother, Leslie T.W. Ellett; her mother, Wanda Loree Webb Ellett; and her father, Ben Edwin Ellett.

Linda’s final resting place will be in the Garden of Roses at Emerald Hills in Kennedale.
