Loyd Doyle Samuel, 93, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed on February 25, 2026

He was born on April 30, 1932 in Rhome, Tx to Edward and Bertha (Sharp) Samuel. He graduated from Kennedale High in Kennedale Tx. As a young man, Loyd proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956. Loyd married Doris Marie Durfee on December 20, 1952, and was happily married for 65 years. As a Master Union Plumber he worked many years for Broyles and Broyles, then retired from SkiHi Mechanical. He loved to be outdoors riding his lawnmower taking care of his lawn.He was proceeded in death by his parents Edward and Bertha Samuel, wife Doris, and brothers Bill, Bob, Floyd, and James.

Loyd is survived by his son Allen Samuel of Justiceburg Tx, and daughter-in-law Katy Samuel, Daughter Jan (Samuel) McFarland and son-in-law Mike McFarland of Joshua,Tx; His grandchildren Carmen Samuel Austin, O’Brien McDonald, Deidra McDonald Ruchaber, Brad Durham, Laci Durham, Joshua Moore, Dwain McFarland, Jim McFarland, Lauren McFarland; 23 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
