Lynn Gay Hart passed away on August 27, 2026, in Mansfield, Texas. She was 75 years old.
Lynn devoted her life to her family and to the home she created with her husband, Donald Hart. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest source of pride was always her children and grandchildren.
As a mother, Lynn dedicated herself to raising her two sons, Richard Brian Hart and Christopher Jon Hart. Throughout their childhood and teenage years, she could often be found supporting them at their sporting events. That support continued through their high school and college years, and she took great pride in watching her sons grow, pursue their goals, and eventually build families of their own.
Becoming a grandmother brought Lynn tremendous happiness. She loved her grandchildren deeply and took great joy in celebrating them, especially spoiling them with gifts. Giving to the people she loved was one of the ways Lynn expressed her affection, and she was happiest when she could make her family feel special.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Donald Hart; her son Richard Brian Hart and his wife, Claudia Hart; her son Christopher Jon Hart and his wife, Angela Hart; and her beloved grandchildren, Jackson, Mia, Jamie, Lauren, Nicolas, and Taylor. She is also survived by her siblings and extended family members.
Lynn was proud of her sons and the families they created, especially her grandchildren. Her memory will live on through the family she loved so deeply and through the many moments, traditions, and memories they shared together.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a memory care facility of your choice in Lynn’s memory.
