FORT WORTH -- Mary Ethelyn Wilson Howell, 89, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007 at her home in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel, Burial: 1:30 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane A." Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel.
She was born March 30, 1918, in Pecos, the youngest of 12 children born to Thomas Neil and Sallie Durah Hipp Wilson. Her sisters were Elliott Katherine Wilson, Jennie Welch, Flora Ann Pyle, Sallie Belle Ray, Lakie Ida Countiss and Una Mae Wilson. Her brothers were Jimmy Wilson, Arthur Abner Wilson, Joe Turner Wilson, Ernest "Pete" Monday Wilson, and Saint Mark Wilson. All preceded her in death.
She was married to Leonard Howell for more than 65 years and they have two sons, Robert Benton, married to Gloria, and Keith Alan, married to Brenda. They also have three grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Lovering, Adam Tilmon Howell and Brian Christopher Howell.
