Manuel Vasquez Jr. passed away on September 26, 2021 at the age of 57 in Mansfield, TX at Methodist Mansfield Hospital. He was born on August 20, 1964 in Loraine, TX to Manuel and Dominga Abrigo Vasquez. Manuel grew up in Loraine, TX. He received his GED and attended Lincoln Tech in Grand Prairie, TX. He worked for American Eurocopter for 11 years as a New Helicopter Completion Technician and also as a Dynamic Component Repair Technician. He then went to Bell Helicopter for 11 years as a Gearbox Assembler Technician.
Manuel married Doris Valenzuela in 1988 in Arlington, TX. They were happily married for 33 years. He loved to camp and spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed being with all his family. He liked meeting and making new friends. He was a good friend and buddy. If you needed him, he would be there in a moment’s notice to help. Manuel was never a stranger and social media was his go-to when keeping up with friends and family. He loved music, dancing with Doris, hanging out with the guys and talking with everyone. He loved our great country along with our brave men and women of our armed forces and law enforcement.
Manuel was preceded in death by Manuel Vasquez Sr.
Manuel is survived by his spouse, Doris Vasquez, of Grand Prairie, TX; his daughter, Victoria Vasquez of Abilene, TX, his sons Manuel Zachary Vasquez (Maricela), of Arlington, TX, Brandon Zimmerman (Veronica) of Grand Prairie, TX, Eric Valenzuela (Sarah), of Saginaw, TX; grandchildren Breanna Azua, Eric Valenzuela Jr., Adrien Valenzuela, Xavien Valenzuela, Brandon Zimmerman Jr., Karina Zimmerman, Ana Vasquez, Aaliyah Vasquez, Aiden Vasquez; great-grandchild Alayna Azua; mother, Dominga Vasquez, of Loraine, TX; siblings Crestina Rivera (Johnny), Josie Vasquez (Eddie), Adelina Vasquez (Felix), Jose Vasquez (Yazmin), Ambrosia Castillo (Tony), Ruben Vasquez, Amelia Rice (John); and numerous nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
He was a great husband, father, and brother, he will be dearly missed.
