Maria “Rosie” White, 81, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on September 8, 2026. She was born on October 7, 1944, in Sanderson, Texas, to Jose and Guadalupe (Faz) Rodriguez.

Maria grew up in San Antonio and later Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from what later became Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth in 1962. After high school, she attended Texas Woman’s University for a year before beginning her career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, which eventually became AT&T. She worked there for more than 30 years, progressing from a telephone operator to an Executive Assistant before retiring in the early 1990s.

After retirement, Maria devoted much of her time to helping others. She volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth for many years and also served as a volunteer at Bass Performance Hall.

Maria married Lienthal (Len) White in 1968 in Fort Worth, Texas. They shared 56 years of marriage before his passing in 2025. Together, Maria and Len enjoyed traveling to their favorite places, including Estes Park, Colorado, and Kentucky, where they visited Len’s family. They also cherished visiting their daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughters in the various places they lived throughout the years, including San Antonio, Lubbock, Utah, and the Austin area.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Joe; her son, Paul Stewart; and her beloved husband, Len.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa; her son-in-law, Mark Aguillard, of Spicewood, Texas; her granddaughters, Morgan, McKinley, and Madelyn; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at Emerald Hills Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on October 12, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Arlington, Texas.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the many friends and family members who have offered condolences and provided support and care during this difficult time.
