Mark Allen Rhodes

Mark Allen Rhodes, 62, passed away on January 10, 2026, in Mansfield, Texas. He was born on May 7, 1963, in Madison, Wisconsin to Milton “Dusty” and Joan Rhodes. In April 1994, he married his wife, Stacy, in Arlington, Texas. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Austin and Rachel.

He graduated from Baylor University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science and later earned his Master of Arts in Counseling from Amberton University in 2001. This education led him not only into a career, but into a lifelong passion for helping and ministering to others. Throughout his countless hours of dedication, he helped to change the lives of many individuals.

In his spare time, he enjoyed watching and playing sports, going to the movies, hanging out in the pool, cruising with family, and spending time with his grand pups. He wore many hats throughout his life, but his favorite title and newest title was being the “Best Peek-a-Boo partner” aka “Pops”.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Milton “Dusty” Rhodes and his in-laws, Johnny and Sandy Doud. 

Mark is survived by his spouse, Stacy Rhodes; his son, Austin Rhodes and wife, Kelsey Rhodes; his daughter, Rachel Rhodes and partner Demani Hill; his grandson Nolan James Rhodes; his mother, Joan Rhodes; his siblings, Lori Kovacich and husband, Rick, Teri Rhodes, Debbie Ray and husband, Jim; his nephew Daniel Kovacich, wife Shelbi, and three boys; his niece, Kathleen Kovacich and fiancé, Greg; along with many other aunts, cousins, and beloved family members.

A memorial service will be held at Lake Church (2912 Little Rd, Arlington, Texas 76016) on Saturday, February 7th at 11:00am with lunch to follow.
