Martha Balderaz Martinez

Martha Balderaz Martinez, 76, passed away on 25, August, 2025 at her home in Grand Prairie, Texas. She was born on January 17, 1949, in Sterling City, Texas to Domingo Balderaz and Bisenta Arizola Balderaz. Martha grew up in Sterling City, Texas where she attended school. Martha married Raymond Martinez in Sterling City in 1964. They were married for 61 years. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and embroidering. She liked running half marathons and going on bicycle rallies. She enjoyed being a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Grand Prairie. She was a loyal member of the church ministries. She was preceded in death by her parents Bisenta and Domingo Balderaz, sisters Linda Ibarra and Elena Lucas, her daughter Regina Ann Martinez, her son Edmond Ray Martinez, her grandson Robert Ray Martinez, and great-grandson Jeremy Ray Martinez. She is survived by her spouse, Raymond of Grand Prairie, Texas; Her grandson Nicholas Ray Martinez, her great-grandson Elijah Ray Martinez and great-grand daughter Melie Martinez; brothers Domingo Jr. and Jody, nieces and nephews and other relatives. A memorial service mass will be held on September 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. and rosary at 9:15 a.m. Services will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church 2910 Corn Valley Rd. Grand Prairie, Texas 75052 Interment will follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd. Kennedale, Texas 76060
