Mary Jane Brown, 79, of Forest Hill went peacefully in the arms of God Tuesday July 11th, 2017.
Funeral: 1:30PM Saturday July 22nd, 2017 at Emerald Hills Funeral Home. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation: 6 – 8PM Friday July 21st, 2017 at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Mary was a blessing to know, very loving and peaceful and there was not one stranger that she met that she did not try to get to know. She smiled at any stranger just to make them feel good. She loved to sing many gospel songs at home while she did the house work and in the shower. She was a homemaker and only went into the working world once while married because she wanted to. She was a good Christian lady, wife, mother, and grandmother.
We will miss her wonderful smiling face.
The family are members of First Baptist Church of Everman.
She is preceded in death by her parents Josephine and Homer Jenkins.
She had liver cancer that took her life very quickly. She is truly at peace now and in heaven with her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, Bob Brown, her loving husband of 58 years. Survived by her children Bryan Brown and Lisa Rice, and husband, Kenny; grandchildren, Lory and Kenny Lee Rice.
