Mayanell Bolling, 92, passed away on 18, May 2026 at her home in Fort Worth, TX. She was born on March 5, 1934 in Mineral Wells, TX to Jessy Horace and May Daffern Bolling. She was the second of eight children.

Mayanell grew up in the north Texas area. She earned her GED and joined the WAC (Women's Army Corps). She was stationed in San Francisco, CA. In 1955, she met and married a fellow serviceman, Edward Tong Lee. Mayanell became a stay-at-home mother and traveled the world with her husband and children. They moved to Fort Worth, TX when Edward retired from the military.

Once in Fort Worth, Mayanell, started working for Child Protective Services as a unit secretary. She enjoyed a long and fulfilling career until her retirement. She also enjoyed reading, travel videos, jigsaw puzzles and playing games.

Mayanell was preceded in death by her parents Jessy and May Bolling; brothers Jack Williams, Cecil Bolling, Clyde Bolling and Odell Bolling; Sisters Jessie Bolling and Eleanor Hightower.

Mayanell is survived by her son Raymond Lee, of Alvarado, TX and daughters Sharon (Don) Andrew, of Arlington, TX, Edith Smyth of Fort Worth, TX, Miriam (Marshall) McCoy of Ocean Isle, NC and Dora Lee of Cleburne, TX. Brother Kenneth Bolling of Boyd, TX. Grandchildren Jacob Lee, Mark King, Emily Foster, Jason Hampel, Janis Bell, Elizabeth Greene, Dorian Gould and Donovan Gould. and seven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
