Michael (known to many as Mike) Glenn Ward, 66, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Monday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Interment at Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation 6-8 p.m.
Sunday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Mike Ward was born January 13, 1951 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. He was married to Delpha Sloan December 22, 1970, where they made their home in Arlington, Texas for 23 years then moved to Mansfield.
Michael was a loving husband, father, and granddad. He was an avid reader and loved woodworking. Mike was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for everyone. He had a deep love for his family, especially his grandkids, and his dogs. He was currently working for General Motors and had been there for 40 years.
Preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Ruby Ward.
Michael is survived by his wife of 46 years, Delpha Ward; Daughter, Daina Smith; Son, Clinton Ward; Brother, David Ward and wife, Ellen from Newark, Texas; Grandchildren, Bailey Ward, Galen Smith, and Delaina Smith; and multiple nieces and nephews.
