Moses Felan Cabrera, 79, went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2024. Moses was born on December 25, 1944, in Gilroy, California to Pedro G. and Elbira Felan Cabrera. Moses grew up in Ft Worth, graduated from Trimble Tech High School and went on to earn an associate degree. He worked in a dental lab and then hired into the Post Office in May of 1973 until he retired in August of 2009. He loved serving the people and they loved him.
Moses and Mary Johnson were married for 40 years, on January 12, 1984. His family was very important to him. He was an awesome and loving husband and father, leading his children in God’s Word and by example. Most of all he loved the Lord and served Him all his adult life, serving as a Deacon and Elder for many years.
Moses was a very talented, self-taught artist using many different types of art mediums. He created many subjects and even doing special requests for people who loved his work.
Moses was preceded in death by his brothers, Pete, Elias, Arthur, John and Ricardo Cabrera; sisters, Virginia Gelker and Yolanda Treto; half-brothers, Rueben and Armando Najera.
Moses is survived by his wife, Mary; half-brother, Zaragoza Najera; children, Elbira (Vida) and spouse Joe Alvarado, Moses and spouse Lisa Cabrera; grandchildren, Aaron Alvarado and Gabriel Cabrera; great-grandchildren, Joseph Zig, Joe Oliver and Emy Lissette Alvarado.
