Nicholas Andrew Cordova, known to many as Nick, passed away at the age of 35 in Arlington, Texas, surrounded by those who loved him most in this world. He was born on April 13, 1988, in Dallas, Texas, and went on to work in management at the University of Texas at Arlington for the last six years. Nicholas was an amazing individual from the day he was born. He was a smart, loving and kind person who only wanted the best for his family and friends.  Nick hoped others would also be supportive and kind to all.  When he realized not everyone had those traits, he was saddened. 


Nick graduated from Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas. His life was filled with love for his family and a passion for technology and gaming. Nick will be remembered as a dependable individual who always participated in family gatherings. He was often seen helping his mother, grandmother, or aunt with various tasks and was admired for his fun and common knowledge facts of life. Nick enjoyed spending hours playing games with his family, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.


Those who knew Nick best remember him as a man whose presence exuded kindness and gentleness. His sense of humor brought joy to those around him, making everyone feel at ease. Nick enjoyed being part of a bowling league in the past and recently took pleasure in playing pool during family gatherings and tournaments.


Among his hobbies and interests were collecting playing cards and scarves, bowling, and playing pool. Nick's proudest accomplishments include being a hardworking individual who consistently supported and strengthened his family through his unwavering kindness.


Nick is survived by his loving mother Dianna Cordova, passionate grandmother Victoria Valdez, caring aunt Virginia A. DeTuro, supportive uncle Phil B. Cordova Jr., cousins Phil B. Cordova III, Dannielle DeTuro, Isabella DeTuro who loved him immensely, as well as numerous extended family members in Colorado. He will be met in heaven and rejoice with family members, including his great grandmother Veronica Cordova and aunt Louise.


In honoring the life of Nicholas Andrew Cordova, let us hold onto the memories of his warm heart, infectious laughter, and selfless nature that touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing that he will forever be cherished and remembered with love.
